As we reach the end of another wonderful term, we find ourselves looking back with so much pride. What a wonderful and busy final term we have had! It has been a joy to see how much the children have grown in confidence, independence, and resilience over the past few months. They have worked incredibly hard and should all be very proud of their achievements.
One of the biggest highlights of this term has been the addition of our new regulation playground. The children absolutely love it, and it’s been a joy to watch them take full advantage of this fantastic new space during their regulation breaks. It’s already become a firm favourite part of the school day!
We also completed our final yoga sessions with Karen, which was such a calming and positive presence for the children. They embraced each session with enthusiasm and developed great mindfulness and relaxation skills.
We had a fantastic time getting our hands dirty quite literally with visits to Togher Community Garden and Ballyphehane Community Garden. The children loved exploring nature, spending time outdoors getting involved in gardening activities, and, of course, spending some time in the playground afterwards!
Thank you to all our families for your continued support throughout the year. Wishing everyone a safe, relaxing, and happy summer break.
Our school tour was a day to remember! The children had a wonderful time exploring Fitzgerald’s Park, soaking up the sunshine and the gorgeous surroundings. We had loads of fun bowling in the Mardyke and then headed to McDonald’s for a very well-deserved lunch. It was a brilliant day from start to finish.
It was also lovely to share some of our adventures this term alongside our mainstream classes, and what better way to round off the sunny final weeks than with a well-earned ice cream in the sunshine!
It has truly been a term to remember. We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful, restful summer; the children have more than earned it.
