The school is very fortunate to have an excellent after school programme in place. The programme is run by Laura Flaherty, an experienced childcare practitioner with over 13 years experience, including running her own Montessori and After School Club in the Turners Cross area. Laura employees a big staff of loving and caring employees as part of her team. 

The purpose of the After School programme is to provide quality, affordable care to school-aged children. The service provides a happy, safe and warm environment where all children and their families feel welcome. Activities stimulate the child’s social, physical and intellectual abilities through participation in activities with their school peers. The importance of free play, especially in the outdoors, is prioritised. After school is an inclusive setting where all children are valued. They always ensure that the atmosphere is different to that in a classroom and is not intended to be an extension of the school day. 

The programme runs from 1.10pm to 5pm Monday – Friday, in accordance with the school calendar. The after school programme takes place onsite allowing parents to have peace of mind knowing that their child is in a safe, structured, stimulating and familiar environment.
