Application and Decision Dates for admission to 2025/2026
The following are the dates applicable for admission to Junior Infants:
The school will commence accepting applications for admission on 1 October 2024
The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on 24th October 2024
The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is 15 November 2025
The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is 2 weeks from date on letter offer.
Note: applications made after the 24th October 2024 will be processed as late applications, the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy.
Failure of an applicant to accept an offer by the 29th November 2024 may result in the offer being withdrawn.

A note can be added if a change in numbers could arise for a special class or other year group or, some schools may not have confirmed accommodation. Note: The figures set out below in relation to the Autism Class are subject to change dependent on whether current students in the Autism Class retain their place in the school and whether a student(s) transfers into the school after the publication of this notice.

The catchment area of our school covers areas south of the River Lee in the city, and bounded to the east by South City Link Rd to take in areas like the south inner city, Turner’s Cross, and Ballyphehane. The catchment also includes areas such as Glasheen and Wilton to the west and generally to the north of Cork’s South Ring Rd, but also including parts of Togher south of the national route. The western boundary of the school’s catchment runs from Waterfall to the western end of the Carrigrohane Rd, taking in the Curraheen and Bishopstown residential areas.
