Our school community was treated to an unforgettable performance of Matilda the Musical on the 23rd and 24th of March in the Nano Nagle Theatre. After months of dedication, creativity, and teamwork, the production truly showcased the incredible talent and commitment of our students.
In the lead-up to the show, an enormous amount of effort went on behind the scenes. Students worked tirelessly learning lines, perfecting their characters, and bringing the story to life on stage. At the same time, many others were busy designing and creating props and backdrops, transforming the theatre into the vibrant world of Matilda.
Equally impressive was the work that went into the musical elements of the production. Weeks were spent rehearsing choreography, refining dance routines, and mastering song lyrics. The energy, precision, and enthusiasm displayed during the performances were a testament to the dedication shown throughout the rehearsal process.
We are incredibly proud of every student involved in the production. Their hard work, perseverance, and passion culminated in a truly amazing show that was enjoyed by all who attended. Beyond the performances themselves, this production fostered a wonderful sense of school community and pride, bringing students, staff, and families together in celebration of creativity and collaboration.
