It’s hard to believe that the second term has already come to an end! This term has been full of fun, friendship, and fantastic experiences. We have really enjoyed continuing to settle into our routines and making the most of every school day together.
Our class took swimming trips to Churchfield, where everyone showed great confidence and enthusiasm in the water. A highlight of this term was our wonderful outing to the Opera House to see Aladdin, which was a magical experience enjoyed by all.
We made the most of our time outside the classroom too, with trips to the playground and visits to the library. These outings gave us great opportunities to explore, learn, and enjoy time together in different environments.
There were also plenty of opportunities to celebrate, from fun class parties to delicious pancakes that everyone thoroughly enjoyed! These moments brought lots of smiles and laughter to our classroom.
We have especially loved continuing to integrate into our mainstream classes, spending time with our peers and building strong friendships. We also really enjoyed reverse integration, welcoming our friends back to the autism class to share activities, games, and fun experiences together.
What a brilliant term it has been—full of growth, connection, and happy memories. We’re already looking forward to all the exciting things that Term 3 will bring!
