It’s hard to believe the first term of the school year is already coming to an end! It has been so wonderful settling back into school, reconnecting with familiar faces, and getting to know our new class. From day one, we’ve had an absolute ball!
We’ve been busy in the classroom exploring fractions, time, and the incredible Amazon Rainforest. Everyone has shown great curiosity and enthusiasm, and it’s been fantastic to see our learning grow each week.
This term has also been filled with exciting hands-on experiences. We took part in GAA training and yoga, enjoyed an engaging visit from Pepsi, and even got to try out a VR headset! We also learned about 3D printing thanks to Stryker, and discovered how composting works through a fun, interactive session.
Our classroom wouldn’t be complete without our wonderful pets, the stick insects, and we’ve taken great pride in caring for them throughout the term!
Outside the classroom, we’ve made amazing memories on our social outings. We visited The Lough, enjoyed treats at Costa, and explored the Marina Market. A definite highlight was taking the bus to see the beautiful Christmas lights in Cork City this December!
As we wrap up a busy and exciting term, we’re all looking forward to a well-deserved break. We can’t wait to return refreshed and ready for everything 2026 has in store!
