As we come to the end of a great first term, we are delighted to celebrate all the learning, achievements and experiences the children have enjoyed. We explored Irish folklore, bringing the story of Cú Chulainn to life through drama, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. In music, we learned about different instruments and even made our own percussion instruments, leading to some brilliant (and very lively!) performances. The children worked very hard on the topic of Time, showing real determination and growing confidence as the term progressed. We also had lots of fun in art, using marble painting to create colourful foxes and birds after learning about animals. These artworks brightened up our classroom and showcased each child’s creativity. One of the highlights of the term was our trip to town and the visit to the Marina Market. The children travelled by bus into town, enjoyed the festive atmosphere and had a hot chocolate. This experience helped them develop their independence, confidence, and understanding of real-life travel skills. Their manners, responsibility, and awareness while travelling were exceptional, and we are incredibly proud of them.
