The highly anticipated Active Week was yet again a roaring success. We kicked off each day with a whole school yard activity, a HIIT workout on Monday, Tug of War on Tuesday, Playground disco on Wednesday and Mile with a Smile on Thursday. Throughout the week, the children enjoyed Rinka sessions with Colm, an introduction to American football with Clara’s Mom, table tennis sessions, giant board games on the yard and cardio drumming sessions. The sun certainly shone for our Annual Sports Day on Friday, with a jam packed day of fun and activities, including traditional races, the water station, parachute games, obstacle courses, throwing games, GAA skills and even some limbo dancing. A big big thank you to the Parents’ Association who supplied us with a bouncy castle and treated every child in the school to an ice-cream from the ice-cream truck.
