This month we have been very lucky to work collaboratively with our local community garden. The children got to spend time planting potatoes, weeding plants, moving soil, watering plants and much more. It was wonderful to spend time outside working on this project. The work that is being done in the community garden is just fantastic and the children loved being part of it!

We have also spent this month exploring clay in Second Class and it has been wonderful to watch the progression of skills over that time. The children have explored making pinch bowls, coil bowls and they have also had an opportunity to create a piece that is special to them (there were a lot of cats!)
